About Lauren Design Studio

As we approach the five-year mark since launching Lauren Design Studio in 2021, I find myself reflecting on this incredible journey. From the outset, my passion has been to help business owners realize their startup visions and goals. I love collaborating with individuals who have brilliant ideas and concepts but need support and guidance to bring them to life.

The first and second years in business were undeniably challenging, but I persevered. With immense support and determination, I navigated through those early hurdles. One crucial lesson I’ve learned along the way is the value of investing in your own growth. If there are skills you need to enhance and you have the time, absolutely take the opportunity to educate yourself. However, to run a business more efficiently, it’s often wiser to hire experts. This decision can save both time and money in the long run.

As entrepreneurs, we can have all the innovative ideas, but turning those ideas into reality can feel overwhelming. This is where the right support becomes invaluable. Here’s a bit about me…

Hi, I’m Lauren! My career has been a journey through the worlds of fashion, design, and storytelling, and I’m grateful for every experience that’s brought me to where I am today. I started in fashion school, diving into the business and creative sides of the industry. Learning web design, PR, styling, and branding set the stage for everything that came next.

In 2015, I landed a role at a Canadian fashion magazine, where I spent 12 exciting years working with designers, photographers, and influencers. I loved being in the mix, interviewing industry leaders, attending runway shows, and building relationships that fueled my creativity. Those years taught me the power of meaningful connections and solidified my passion for helping brands make a lasting impact.

After my magazine chapter, I launched StylistNomad, a blog dedicated to my love for fashion and travel. Covering Canadian designers and iconic events like Fashion/Art Toronto allowed me to combine storytelling with a deeper exploration of style. From there, I took an even bigger leap—moving to Spain and then Italy, where I taught English and became a tour coordinator at the Colosseum. These experiences broadened my perspective, teaching me adaptability and the value of connecting across cultures.

Today, I’m channeling everything I’ve learned into my business. Our mission is to support both new and established brands with strategy, direction, and purpose to drive long-term success. We empower clients throughout the entire design process, from consultation to final presentation. Every project we take on is crafted with meaning, strategy, and a personal touch, designed to make brands truly stand out.
